Meet Jo and the Craft Team!

Hi,

I’m Jo, the creator of the Magical Crafting Club!

I started the MCC to connect with other crafty enthusiasts who love looking for thrifty ways to craft, upcycle & repurpose - turning things into other things, just like magic!

Like many of you out there, creativity is at my core. I’ve always loved searching thrift stores for random objects, collecting recycled materials and channelling my imagination to create cool things.

I’m extremely passionate about creating a safe and welcoming space for both adults and children to come together and explore their creativity through crafting. We believe that crafting is not just about making beautiful objects, but also about the process of learning and discovery.

The magical crafting club not only encourages creativity and imagination but also promotes the development of important problem-solving and social skills. Through crafting, children are able to explore STEAM principles (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) in a hands-on and engaging way. We believe that crafting is

not only a fun activity but also contributes to the general well-being of children, helping them to build confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of accomplishment. Join us and
