Bishopbriggs Library will once again be filled with colour, creativity and proud smiles this
June as The Magical Crafting Club returns with its Summer End of Term Crafty Gallery.
The special showcase will celebrate the creativity and hard work of every child involved in the club’s after-school classes, giving them the chance to see their artwork proudly displayed for the local community to enjoy.
The public gallery will run from 1–7 June at Bishopbriggs Library, with a special VIP family event bringing children, parents and relatives together to celebrate the young creators behind the work.
Run by Jo of The Magical Crafting Club, the gallery has become about much more than simply displaying crafts.
“It’s about giving the kids recognition for all the effort, imagination and creativity they put into class every single week,” she said.
The event is once again being delivered in collaboration with Bishopbriggs Library, helping bring together families, local organisations and the wider community through creativity.
This year’s projects have also been supported by Bishopbriggs Picture Framer & Gallery at Hunters Hill Village, who donated cardboard and recyclable materials used throughout the children’s creations — continuing the club’s strong focus on sustainability and creative reuse.
Jo added: “Seeing the kids walk into the gallery and spot their own work on display is honestly one of the best parts of what we do.
They’re so proud of themselves — and they should be.”
