Choosing a holiday club for your child is about more than filling time — it’s about trust.
Parents want to know their child will feel safe, welcomed, and confident. They want structure without pressure, creativity without overwhelm, and care that feels genuine.
At MCC Holiday Craft Club, every part of the day is intentionally designed to support children — emotionally, socially, and creatively. Here’s what a full day with us really looks like.

Why Parents Trust MCC
Parents trust MCC because care comes first — always.
Children are welcomed by name. Groups are kept small and supported. Sessions are fully insured, carefully planned, and run with a secure locked-door policy in place.
Behind every creative session is preparation, consistency, and a deep understanding of what children need to feel safe and confident.
It’s why the club feels calm. It’s why children grow in confidence. And it’s why families come back, holiday after holiday

Arrival & First Impressions (10am)
The day begins with a calm, organised drop-off.
Parents say goodbye at the door, and children are welcomed by Jo (owner) and the Crafty Assistants — familiar, friendly faces who help everyone feel at ease straight away.
Children drop off coats and bags, are gently introduced to one another, and guided to their own seat complete with a personal name tag.
Aprons go on. Water bottles are placed at the table. Paper and pencils are available while everyone arrives.
There’s no rushing. No standing around unsure. Just a calm, supported start to the day.
Feeling Safe, Seen & Included
Before crafting begins, everyone is brought together as a group.
Jo reintroduces herself and the Crafty Assistants, explains how the day will flow, and talks through the MCC rules so children know exactly what to expect.
Children are shown:
• where the craft supplies are
• which materials they’re allowed to use
• when breaks and lunch will be
Every question is answered. Every child is listened to.
Because feeling heard is part of feeling safe.

Security & Reassurance
Once everyone is settled, the door is locked as part of our secure-door policy.
Parents don’t usually see this part — but it matters.
MCC is fully insured, thoughtfully planned, and run with children’s safety at the centre of everything we do. This structure is what allows the day to feel relaxed rather than restrictive.
Craft Time: Confidence & Teamwork
Craft time begins with a short demonstration — not to copy, but to inspire.
Jo explains each step clearly, and materials are handed out gradually so children aren’t overwhelmed.
Everyone works at the same pace — no rushing ahead — helping children feel part of a team rather than under pressure.
Crafty Assistants move around the room offering quiet support, encouragement, and reassurance where needed.
This is where confidence builds naturally — and pride begins to grow.

Breaks & Choice
After the first craft, it’s time for a break.
Some children chat with friends and enjoy their snack. Others choose to keep crafting using our recycled materials station.
Both are encouraged.
There’s space to rest. There’s space to create. Children are supported to choose what feels right for them.
More Making & Lunchtime Connection
The afternoon brings a new craft, fresh ideas, and more creativity.
Lunch is relaxed and social — time to eat, move around, chat, and make new friends. Some children return to crafting straight away, others take a breather.
As the day continues, children begin packing their creations into their own bags — often surprised by just how much they’ve made.

Ending the Day with Pride (2pm Pick-Up)
Before pick-up, everyone comes back together.
Water bottles, jackets, and bags are gathered. Children are asked how they felt and what they enjoyed most. Stickers are handed out.
The door is unlocked, parents arrive — and the best moment of the day happens.
Children run out proudly holding their crafts, faces glowing with excitement.
“Can I come back tomorrow?”

A Thoughtful, Creative Day
MCC Holiday Craft Club is for children aged 5+.
They arrive happy. They feel safe and supported. They leave confident — and excited to return.
This is what a full day of thoughtful, creative care really looks like.
