It’s a Wrap – 2025 Summer Holiday Craft Club

Wow… what a summer!

Our 2025 Summer Holiday Craft Club was bursting with creativity, laughter, and the kind of ideas only kids can dream up — and the best part?

Over 80% of our materials were recycled!

Here’s just some of what we made together

♻️ 100+ kitchen roll tubes → sausage dogs, dragons, brandies, and honeycomb trees

♻️ 50+ shoeboxes → Pokémon, bug boxes & the kids’ own wild ideas

♻️ 40+ sheets of recycled card → Shrek swamp signs, UFO bases, Smurfs, pineapple minions, Stitch faces, and lighthouses

♻️ 70+ paper plates → moving bugs, Pikachu surprises, and fish

♻️ 80+ paper cups & straws → shark trash busters, Pokémon stands, and dragons

♻️ 80+ sheets of white card → Smurfs, cats, cactus, trolls, and fish

♻️100 cupcake cases + 40 pastry cases + 30 salad containers → fish, UFOs & under-the-sea creations

♻️ 60+ mini bottles, tops & lids → binoculars, eyes, bases, and more!

And that’s just the start — the kids’ creativity and confidence blew us away every single session.

At Magical Crafting Club, our holiday sessions are more than just making things with glue and scissors. They give kids:

A screen-free space to explore ideas and think creatively
Hands-on skills like problem-solving, patience, and working with different materials
Confidence boosts by turning their ideas into something real they can take home
Social connection — making new friends and working together on shared projects
Sustainable crafting habits by showing that amazing things can be made from recycled and everyday items

For some kids, this is their first time building something from scratch, and for others, it’s where they get to truly shine in a creative setting.
