In June, we hosted our second after school craft club Crafty Gallery at was hosted by the Bishopbriggs Library, and what a celebration it was!
A huge thank you to Brenda and the library team for their support — and for helping us make the day so special

A Celebration of Our Young Crafters
The place was packed with families and friends, all there to cheer on our amazing kids. Those who attended were welcomed with refreshments and snacks, before taking their turn to come up to the front where they were introduced, awarded a medal, and given a certificate and gift envelope.
We also took a moment to say goodbye to some of our crafters graduating from the club — it was emotional, but so lovely to celebrate their journey.
🖼 The Gallery Experience
Around the room, we displayed the children’s chosen pieces of artwork, which stayed up in the library for a full week so the wider public could enjoy them too. This meant the kids’ work wasn’t just seen by friends and family, but also by the whole community.
The event was more than just an art display — it was a chance for:
Kids to see friends they’d made at the club
Parents to meet, mingle, and share stories
Families to connect with the library, borrow books, and even sign up for library cards
💛 More Than Just a Craft Club
At Magical Crafting Club, we’re more than a place to make things — we’re a space where children are encouraged, supported, and given the recognition they deserve for the hard work and creativity they put into their projects.
Seeing their proud faces as they stood in front of their gallery was a reminder of why we do what we do — and we can’t wait for the next one
